Copperstone Lending Joins Fintech Association, Backs Secure Digital Finance

Copperstone Lending Inc. (CLI) officially joined the Fintech Philippines Association (FPH) on April 14, 2026. The induction ceremony took place at the Ascott Hotel.

The event featured government regulators, law enforcement officers, and industry leaders. They gathered to discuss ethical innovation and consumer safety in digital lending.

David Balamon is the CEO of Copperstone Lending Inc. He opened the ceremony with a message about industry standards.

“This induction is more than a membership; it is a pledge of Copperstone’s commitment to responsible lending and active industry collaboration,” Balamon said.

Cybersecurity was a main topic of the day. Undersecretary Renato Paraiso of the Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC) delivered the keynote address. He focused on strengthening consumer protection.

Police Colonel Jay D. Guillermo also spoke. He is the Chief of the Investigation Division of the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group. He discussed the challenges of enforcing financial laws in the digital space.

Mikael Nieves represented the Fintech Philippines Association. He serves as the group’s Treasurer and Trustee. He is also the CEO of Mount Fuji Lending, Inc. He spoke about advancing responsible innovation.

Nieves and other FPH representatives officially welcomed the company into the association.

The event ended with a call for unity among stakeholders. They aim to create a transparent and inclusive financial environment.

Copperstone Lending Inc. is an SEC-registered entity. The company plans to protect consumers from fraud. It will continue to provide accessible credit solutions to Filipinos.
