A trio of vintage Lambretta scooters caught my eye at Rockwell Center. They’re rolling towards WackโWack on a cold morning. The scooters are classic Italian scooter models. They date back to the postโwar era. Their sleek design echoes the subculture of the 60s. Each scooter carries a twoโstroke engine. One of the three showed engine trouble. The riders stopped to try to assess the problem. Out of appreciation, I took out my camera. Snapped photos of the three beauties. The Lambrettas shine with original chrome. Their color schemes hint at a retro look. In the Philippines, these scooters are rare in ownership. They serve as stylish, practical transportation. A rare find on the streets of Manila.
