Cauayan City’s Jarina K. Sandhu, a Filipino-Indian beauty who draws a comparison to Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu, who was crowned Queen Isabela 2025. The coronation took place last night at the new Capital Arena in Ilagan City. It catapulted Sandhu directly into the upcoming Miss Universe Philippines 2025 competition. She bypassed the usual audition process.
The newly crowned queen expressed her excitement. She said, “I’m excited to bring the whole Isabela to the Miss Universe [Philippines] stage.” Sandhu further revealed her platform, focusing on two crucial Sustainable Development Goals: eliminating poverty and achieving zero hunger. Her dedication to these causes promises a powerful and impactful run in the national pageant.
The Queen Isabela 2025 pageant wasn’t without its share of dramatic moments. Johnlene E. Ariola represented Ilagan City. She was awarded the title of Queen Isabela Tourism. She received this recognition despite an incomplete answer during the Q&A portion. This highlighted the judges’ acknowledgment of her overall performance and potential.
Other notable wins included Mhira Angelene P. Valenciano from Cordon, who earned the Queen Isabela Tourism title, and Johnlene E. Ariola from Ilagan City who was crowned Queen Isabela Culture and the Arts. Jhudiel Eunisse M. Taguinod (Echague) and Criselle Anne Gregorio (Ramon) secured the first and second runner-up positions respectively. Rounding out the Top 10 were Richimie A. Malsi (Santo Tomas), Ashlee B. Infante (Alicia), Hariette Joy M. Baquiran (Tumauini), Princess Daine S. Antolin (San Mateo), and Angel M. Gutierrez (Naguilian).
The Grand Coronation Night was hosted by acclaimed personalities Rayver Cruz and Emma Tiglao. The event boasted an impressive panel of judges. The judges included world-renowned designer Albert Andrada, actress Angel Aquino, and Miss Universe 2013 3rd Runner-Up Ariella Arida. Their expertise ensured the selection process was fair.
