Quezon City hosted the first multi-city bicycle mechanic workshop and exhibit. Jeza Rodriguez led the one-day workshop at the Quezon City Experience in Quezon Memorial Circle. The activity is in partnership with Watson Institute, Ford Philanthropy, Quezon City’s Green Transport, Bike School Asia, and Move As One. This is to share knowledge with cities that already support the cycling community.

The participating cities are Pasig City, Taguig City, and Quezon City. In just one day, on May 16, they learn the basic geometry of a bicycle. Learn the different skills to repair the bicycle in a way that assists city cyclists on the road.

There’s also an exhibit of different brands and shops for the cycling community. Brands such as Decathlon, Brompton, Nakto, Lumos, Bambike, Traction, Courier, Cora Mina, and Dekaya. A fair number of guests came other than the city participants in the bike mechanic workshop.
