Cocktail Night on the Savoy Hotel Manila 8th Anniversary

Savoy Hotel Manila celebrated its 8th anniversary with a week-long event called “Nights of Zabana.” The celebration began on June 1 at the hotel’s Zabana Bar.

The event highlighted the Filipino tradition of inuman. This practice focuses on storytelling and building friendships over drinks.

General Manager Den Navarro spoke at the launch.

“As we celebrate Savoy Hotel Manila’s 8th anniversary, Nights of Zabana brings together flavors, stories, and experiences from across our hotel portfolio for eight unforgettable nights,” Navarro said. “More than a showcase of exceptional cocktails, it is a celebration of meaningful connections, shared experiences, and the warm hospitality that defines Megaworld Hotels & Resorts.”

This was the first collaborative cocktail showcase within Megaworld Hotels & Resorts. Properties including Chancellor Hotel Boracay, Belmont Hotel Iloilo, and Twin Lakes Hotel joined the event. Each property used Zabana Rum to create their drinks.

Savoy Hotel Manila bartenders introduced three signature drinks. These were named Dyip, Pedikab, and Habal. The Habal is a non-alcoholic option. These drinks honor local modes of transportation.

Guests watched live demonstrations and learned about the drink-making process. Attendees also voted for their favorite cocktails for specific scenarios.

The “Mango de Jasminum” won for best Date Night drink. The “Zabana Old Fashioned” was the top choice for Business Meetings. The “Pedikab” from Savoy Hotel Manila won for Chill-Out Nights.

The event will continue to showcase Filipino hospitality and creativity throughout the anniversary week.
