Belmont Making A Hit in Iloilo

Belmont Hotel Iloilo officially opened on June 24, 2026. The new property sits inside the 72-hectare Iloilo Business Park. It is the latest addition to the Megaworld Hotels and Resorts portfolio.

The 12-story hotel features 405 rooms. Guests can choose from one-bedroom suites, premiere rooms, twin rooms, and queen rooms. The property also offers specially abled rooms for guests with mobility needs. The hotel introduces themed kids’ rooms that connect to another room. This is a first-in-Iloilo concept for families.

Compared to its counterpart in Manila, the Iloilo property offers unique first-in-Iloilo family concepts and regional art integration. It highlights local Ilonggo culture more deeply.

The hotel design draws inspiration from 1920s to 1950s art deco and Miami’s Art Deco district. It also uses inspiration from music almost like Brooklyn. Each suite features curated works by local artists. These artworks highlight iconic Iloilo landmarks.

“We are excited to offer a truly refreshing experience for everyone at Belmont Hotel Iloilo, and this chapter marks an important milestone in our commitment to help boost tourism in the Visayas,” said Cleofe Albiso, managing director of Megaworld Hotels and Resorts. “Iloilo continues to be a premier destination for local and international travelers with Iloilo Business Park leading the way.”

Albiso added that the brand is proud to continue expanding its footprint in the township.

“We are proud to continue expanding our hospitality footprint in this township with a new and premier development for guests who want to experience the best of Iloilo’s thriving tourism and business scene,” she said.

Joy Alonte, general manager of Belmont Hotel Iloilo, talked about the guest experience.

“Belmont Hotel Iloilo is our invitation to travelers to discover the many stories, flavors, and experiences that make this city special,” Alonte said.

Alonte noted that the hotel aims to provide mindful sensory moments.

“Everything you hear, everything you taste, everything you feel, everything you see, everything you smell, it’s all intentional and it’s all mindful,” Alonte said.

The hotel offers extensive facilities for visitors. A second-floor mini-art gallery hosts rotating showcases of local artists. A grand ballroom accommodates up to 310 people. The hotel also features versatile meeting rooms and the Northern Islands Ballroom for the MICE market.

The third-floor amenity area includes a swimming pool, kiddie pool, and pool lounge. Guests can use separate changing rooms with integrated savings saunas. A fitness center and private spa rooms are also available.

Dining options include Belmont Café, which seats 120 guests and serves modern Ilonggo diner fare. The lobby features Zabana Bar. The third-floor pool lounge features Float Bar and Grill.

The hotel prioritizes sustainability. It focuses on minimizing water consumption across its operations. Rooms feature eco-friendly amenities like bamboo toothbrushes. The property also sources local products to support the regional economy.

The hotel hires local Ilonggo employees to support the community. The staff delivers authentic regional hospitality to every visitor.

“When in Iloilo be sure to spend a night or two rounding the Iloilo Business Park and visit the entertainment hubs as well to know more about Ilonggo hospitality and more,” hotel guest suggest.
