Ateneo Brings New Books to MIBF 2026

Book lovers can find fresh reads this September. Ateneo de Manila University is joining the 2026 Manila International Book Fair.

The event runs from Sept. 9 to 13. It takes place at the SMX Convention Center Manila.

Visitors can find the Ateneo de Manila University Press booth at Booths 7-10. The booth is located between Halls 1 and 2.


AUP will showcase its newest titles. Readers can discover anticipated books by local authors.

The lineup includes Versus: Mga Kuwento by DJ Ellamil. It features Are You Still Watching? Dispatches and Essays on Filipino Cinema and TV by Don Jaucian.

Another highlight is My Lola’s Love Letters: A Novel by Ines Bautista-Yao. Readers can also buy Memoirs of an Art Forger: A Novel by Julian Tiongson Jr.

Other featured works include Song of the Mango and Other New Myths by Vida Cruz-Borja. The list features The End Comes on Without a Gasp by Trish Shishikura.

AUP will also offer Factory of Alleged Virtues by Alfonso Manalastas. Fans can also purchase What Recipes Don’t Tell by Felice Sta. Maria.

Book signings will happen at the booth. Readers can meet their favorite authors during the fair.

ADMU Journals will join AUP at the event. They will showcase a diverse lineup of scholarly publications.

These journals are available in print and online. They include Philippine Studies: Historical and Ethnographic Viewpoints and Budhi: A Journal of Ideas and Culture.

Other featured journals are Kritika Kultura and Perspectives in the Arts and Humanities Asia. The list includes Katipunan and the Journal of Management for Global Sustainability.

The final publication is Social Transformations: Journal of the Global South. These journals cover Philippine history, culture, and society. They also explore the arts, humanities, and research topics.

Bargain hunters can enjoy special discounts. New titles will sell at 15 percent off.

Other books will have discounts of up to 30 percent. The booth will also offer bargain titles priced at 50 pesos.


Fans can also buy new AUP merchandise. Items include tote bags for carrying books.

Ateneo is offering free admission tickets for the fair. Visitors can get a free bookmark invite.

They can pick up the invite at the AUP Bookshop in Bellarmine Hall. Guests can also scan a QR code on promotional materials.

They must download, print, and present the QR code at the entrance.

Organizers invite the public to visit the booth. The event promises a day surrounded by books.

Doors are open from Sept. 9 to 13 at Booths 7-10.
