A Farewell to the Philippines’ Superstar: Fans Flock to Honor Nora Aunor

The Metropolitan Theater in Manila buzzed with emotion on Tuesday, April 22, 2025. Thousands of Noranians, devoted fans of National Artist Nora Aunor, gathered to pay their last respects. Aunor, the beloved “Superstar” of Philippine cinema, passed away on April 17th due to acute respiratory failure.
