To celebrate the DLC launch, players can claim a powerful Alpha Charizard. The oversized, battle-ready Pokémon becomes available in-game at 10 PM (UTC+8) on December 9, 2025. It will stay active as a gift until January 19, 2026. Trainers can unlock it using the Mystery Gift feature by entering the code B1G0006. This Charizard will bolster teams in Lumiose City adventures.
The Mega Dimension DLC also introduces a new way to earn Mega Stones. In Ranked Battles at the Z-A Battle Club, players worldwide can compete for promotion rewards. Top ranks will grant Mega Stones for Sceptile, Blaziken, and Swampert. These items are essential for battling in the DLC’s expanded content. This expanded content features these Pokémon in story missions and wild encounters.
