The Department of Tourism (DOT) is thrilled. They announce the resumption of direct flights between France and the Philippines. Starting in December, Air France will offer a nonstop Paris-Manila service. This provides travelers with a more convenient and accessible way to experience the beauty of the Philippines.
This new route will significantly boost tourism from France, the second-highest source of European visitors to the Philippines. The direct connection will remove lengthy layovers. This change makes it easier for travelers to explore the country’s stunning beaches, vibrant cities, and rich cultural heritage.
“We are grateful to Air France for their confidence in the Philippines. Their commitment strengthens our tourism ties,” said Tourism Secretary Maria Esperanza Christina Garcia Frasco. “This new route will not only increase visitor arrivals but also create new opportunities for economic growth and cultural exchange.”
The DOT is optimistic that the resumption of direct flights will pave the way for further expansion of air connectivity. This includes connecting the Philippines with other European destinations soon.
