The World Trade Center buzzed with the aroma of sweetness as it officially opened the Bakery Fair 2025. The Filipino Chinese Baker’s Association Incorporated (FCBAI) organized this three-day event (March 6 to 8). The event boasts a delectable array of local and international exhibitors. Visitors can sample free treats. They can also marvel at spectacular cake creations, and watch exciting baking demonstrations. The fair showcases everything from food supplies and equipment to stylish uniforms. It offered a comprehensive experience for baking enthusiasts and industry professionals alike for an entrance fee of ₱200.

One of the fair’s highlights is celebrity chef and entrepreneur Rhian Ramos. Five years ago, a photo of Rhian in a two-piece baking outfit went viral on social media. It captured her intense focus on perfecting her chocolate chip cookie recipe. Friends and colleagues encouraged her to turn it into a business. This obsession led to the creation of her cookie shop, Bās Bākes. Rhian’s dream turned into a reality. At the Bakery Fair 2025, she delighted the audience with a demonstration of her signature cookies. These cookies achieve the perfect balance of chocolate and sweetness. It leaves everyone wanting more without the sugar rush.

Exhibitors also offered engaging baking demonstrations. One of which is the Universal Robina (URC) booth (F14). At this booth, Chef Aileen Asilom, known as Chef Ai, showed attendees how to bake Tablea Buns using URC flour. The demonstration at the booth’s theme is “Sikat.” The booth highlighted the success of Filipino bakers. Chef Ai’s journey exemplifies this success. Starting modestly, her passion for baking propelled her to become a URC ambassador. She shared her expertise, guiding the audience in selecting the right flour for perfect recipes.

Visitors get to witness the cake competition. A showcased of truly spectacular entries. Massive cakes dominated the display on the center aisle. Their intricate designs captivate visitors. Many cakes were incredibly realistic. It can fool the eyes of real animals. Cakes that depict everyday objects with astonishing detail. The level of artistry and creativity was breathtaking. A demonstration of the incredible talent within the Filipino baking community. The Bakery Fair 2025 promises to be a memorable event. It celebrated the artistry and passion of baking.
