
The Embassy of Israel in the Philippines partnered with Taguig City schools for a successful Women’s Month event. The “Isha Project,” meaning “woman” in Hebrew, focused on female empowerment. It was held at Ususan Elementary School.
The forum featured several speakers. Dr. Elaine Leynes discussed mental health. Mme. Gila Fluss, the ambassador’s wife, spoke about nutrition. Dr. Marissa Resulta, a MASHAV scholar, taught attendees about recognizing child abuse. Marge Barro, also a MASHAV scholar, coordinated the event.

Ambassador Ilan Fluss gave closing remarks. He mentioned the recent Hamas attack and the ongoing hostage situation. He praised Filipina women, especially teachers. He highlighted the importance of peace and security.
