Manila’s fashion elite gathered for the 29th annual Manila’s Best Dressed awards. This was a spectacular event held at the Fiesta Pavilion of the Manila Hotel. It took place on March 26, 2025. This year’s celebration marked a significant departure from previous years, according to Chairman Stephen Young.
“The biggest difference? You’re going to see all kinds of awesome music and entertainment,” Young stated in an interview. “For the first time ever, we’re bringing back our awardees, our icons, and putting them on stage. Eighteen of our award winners will walk the runway!”
This year’s event highlighted not only the impeccable style of its awardees but also its commitment to philanthropy. Proceeds will benefit 1,750 Aeta families in Floridablanca, Pampanga, provide educational scholarships, and support the Kythe Foundation.

Among the esteemed awardees was Cynthia Romero Mamon, COO of Enchanted Kingdom. Mamon, a powerful female leader and inspiration to many, is known for her innovative approach to the entertainment industry. She’s a global traveler who seeks inspiration from amusement parks around the world, bringing fresh ideas to Enchanted Kingdom. Her career highlights include being named the most powerful woman in IT in 2003, leading Sun Microsystems Philippines.
The selection process remains rigorous. “We’re not letting just anybody become an awardee,” Young explained. “They meet certain criteria. We honor role models who inspire others, individuals with beauty, elegance, grace, and a deep appreciation for fashion.” Selection considers major accomplishments in various fields, emphasizing impact on the Philippine community.

Young expressed a strong commitment to showcasing Philippine talent and materials. “Everything here is all about the Philippines,” he declared. He revealed his frequent trips to the country, stating, “This is my second home.” He encourages the use of Philippine-made materials. He collaborates with top designers to support local talent. This also promotes sustainable fashion practices. Despite this, the awardees are given freedom in their design choices.
The 29th Manila’s Best Dressed was more than just a fashion spectacle. It was a celebration of Philippine talent. It also honored philanthropy. Furthermore, it showcased the enduring power of elegance and style.
