
The Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) launched the 2025 National Women’s Month Celebration (NWMC) on March 5th. The event took place at the Music Hall, SM Mall of Asia. The theme this year is “Babae sa Lahat ng Sektor, Aangat ang Bukas sa Bagong Pilipinas.” This translates to “Women in All Sectors, A Brighter Future in the New Philippines.”



The celebration included a variety of activities. These were designed to empower women from all walks of life. Booths offered essential services. These included medical checkups, legal advice, and livelihood assistance. The PCW presented the State of Filipino Women Report. This report highlighted the current status of gender equality in the Philippines.
A significant event was the unveiling of the PCW’s 50th-anniversary coffee table book. This book commemorates five decades of advocating for women’s rights. The day also featured comprehensive lectures. These lectures focused on women’s empowerment. The PCW aims to advance women’s rights and empowerment through various initiatives. The event successfully kicked off a month dedicated to celebrating and uplifting Filipino women.
