On this 19th of May, the National Parks Development Committee hosted a fashionable fiesta. They collaborated with Fashion Revolution Philippines, SoFA Design Institute, and Urban Sketchers. Watch the Santacruzan parade come alive. The stunning Filipiniana gowns and suits boast a modern, sustainable twist. These are designed by students from SoFA Design Institute.
This Flores de Mayo with a fashionable twist isn’t just about aesthetics. It’s a powerful statement about merging cultural preservation with environmental responsibility. The student-designed Filipiniana pieces are sure to turn heads while promoting eco-conscious practices in the fashion industry.
But the festivities don’t stop there! The Urban Sketchers Manila will be capturing the regality of the Reinas (Queens) in their Filipiniana attire. After the parade, head to the Open-Air Auditorium for a spectacular Santacruzan fashion show.
