The 58 students unveiled their designs as a warm welcome to their campus’s new location in Rockwell, Makati City.
A glimpse of what sustainable fashion can be with the young talented student designers of SoFA Design Institute. The students were challenged to use whatever available materials without spending a dime. On 13 July 2024, the 58 students unveiled their designs. This event served as a warm welcome to their campus’s new location. Their campus is now on the 2nd Level of The Proscenium Retail Row at Rockwell, Makati, Metro Manila. The 58 designs awed the audience with their creativity only given to upcycle materials and lessen the environmental impact. They learned skills from their advanced draping class. These include advanced corsetry, pattern making, and sewing. They were guided under the wing of TernoCom designer Irene Grace Subang and other amazing SoFA fashion designer teachers.
