Koro: A New Choral Competition Showcases the Best of Filipino Music

The NCCA launched a new music competition. It’s called “Koro: Linggo ng Musikang Pilipino Chorale Competition.” This exciting event celebrates Linggo ng Musikang Pilipino (LMP), or Filipino Music Week, in 2025. The grand finale will be held in August. The last week of July as Linggo ng Musikang Pilipino. Koro aims to showcase Original Pilipino Music (OPM). It highlights the beauty of Filipino choral music. It encourages participation from all ages and sectors.
