To raise awareness about their disappearance and call for their safe return, cycling advocates organized a protest bike ride from the Memorial Park of Heroes and Martyrs of Marcos Dictatorship to Baclaran Church.
The show was a departure from previous iterations. It focused not only on external disasters but also on the internal anxieties. The anger felt by the youth was also highlighted.
Protesters marched with outcries on President Marcos Jr.’s third State of the Nation Address. People demanded action on climate justice. They also called for an increase of ₱150 to the minimum wage and more.
We, the Filipino women of today, carry on the historical tradition of fighting for freedom and social justice.
