VegFest Pilipinas marked its 10th anniversary with a spectacular two-day event at the Paseo de Roxas in Makati City. Held on March 29th and 30th, the festival attracted an estimated 13,305 visitors.

The final day featured a thrilling cooking contest. Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao each sent a representative. Attendees enjoyed tasting the delicious vegan creations.

Celebrity stylist and TikTok influencer, Miss KC, delivered an inspiring talk. She emphasized the environmental benefits of buying less clothing. Reusing and restyling existing clothes reduces demand for fast fashion. This, in turn, protects animals used in textile and leather production.

Many vegan vendors reported selling out their products. The festival was a resounding success. VegFest’s organizers hope to return to Makati next year.
