The future of entrepreneurship belongs to those who learn, adapt, and change. Business leaders shared this message during the July 9 launch of the E-Commerce Expo Philippines (ECOMEX) 2026.
ECOMEX is the Philippines’ largest event for online sellers and digital innovators. MediaTrix Solutions Inc. organizes the expo, which is powered by PHILSME. The event will take place on November 20–21, 2026, at the SMX Convention Center Aura in Taguig.
The hybrid launch brought together over 40 media organizations. Speakers discussed digital transformation, personal branding, and the power of business communities.
Coach Chinkee Tan, an entrepreneur and financial educator, spoke at the event. He reminded business owners that success starts with small steps.
“Everybody starts with one follower,” Tan said.
He urged entrepreneurs to focus on building value and trust. He warned against the fear of large brands.
“People buy brands. They don’t only buy products,” Tan added.
Tan stressed that long-term success requires constant learning. He encouraged business owners to join industry events to network and grow.
Digital entrepreneur and content strategist Reymond “Boss RDR” Delos Santos joined the discussion. He believes the expo is a platform for growth.
“ECOMEX is not just an expo. For me, ECOMEX is a movement where we recognize and celebrate the people building Philippine e-commerce,” Delos Santos said.
He noted that digital entrepreneurship helps Filipinos create jobs. He said the expo will provide access to new technologies and expert mentorship.

Trixie Esguerra-Abrenilla is the founder of ECOMEX and CEO of the Philippine SME Business Expo. She created the platform to help business owners navigate digital challenges.
“Philippine e-commerce success depends on execution across the entire customer journey,” Esguerra-Abrenilla said. “The challenge is no longer simply how to sell online, but how to acquire, convert, fulfill and retain customers. These are exactly the kinds of questions ECOMEX is built to address.”
The event aims to connect experts and service providers with entrepreneurs. It covers every stage of business, from launching a store to building customer loyalty.
Eryl Royce Nagtalon, director of the DTI E-Commerce Bureau, delivered a recorded keynote message. He emphasized the need for collaboration to build a trusted online marketplace.
More Filipinos are choosing digital commerce over traditional markets. This shift creates a need for businesses to innovate constantly.

Organizers plan to make ECOMEX a long-term platform. It will serve as a hub for investors, government agencies, and business owners to build partnerships. It intends to strengthen the local entrepreneurial ecosystem through continuous learning.
ECOMEX 2026 is now accepting applications for exhibitors, sponsors, and speakers. The organizers invite brands and technology companies to join the growing community.
