MANA Exhibit Highlights Nature

The National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) invites the public to a new art show. The exhibit is entitled MANA. It features the Silaw Artist Collective. The show opens this May at the NCCA Gallery.

MANA explores the link between profit and nature. It focuses on the Masungi landscape. The works question how people use natural resources. The exhibit explores the tension between preservation and exploitation. It also addresses biodiversity loss.

The show features many talented artists. Eghai Roxas is the curator. The artists include Melvin Culaba, Henri Cainglet, and Derick Macutay. Randy Valiente, Benedicto Modesto, and Raul Jorolan also contributed. Other featured artists are Eric David, Beck Dollisen, and Mentis Maris. Mike Jacosalem, James Carlo Mendoza, and Crisanto Aquino are part of the team. Rara Carillo and Jao Isaiah Perez complete the group.

The art serves as a call to action. It asks viewers to protect natural heritage. The show highlights how art shapes public awareness. It encourages visitors to practice better environmental stewardship.

The exhibition runs from May 7 to May 30, 2026. This coincides with National Heritage Month. The gallery is open Monday through Sunday. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
