The Pokémon Company launched a mobile gaming experience across Metro Manila on Oct. 2, 2026. A customized 17-foot pop-up truck featuring vibrant LED displays will visit major shopping centers through Jan. 24, 2027. The tour brings the video game “Pokémon Pokopia” on the Nintendo Switch 2 directly to fans in the Philippines.
The Pokémon Company is based in Minato-ku, Tokyo, under the leadership of CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara. The firm launched the tour under the banner “Play ‘Pokémon Pokopia’ Game with Pokémon Truck at Your Town!”.
Before arriving in Metro Manila, the truck traveled through Singapore and Malaysia. Those tours welcomed more than 250,000 visitors in total. Philippine organizers now expect similar enthusiasm from local gaming fans.
“We’re bringing the Pokémon Truck to malls across Metro Manila so that as many people in the Philippines as possible can enjoy this experience,” said Kenichiro Fujino, Manager at The Pokémon Company. “We look forward to welcoming everyone to the wonderful world of Pokémon Pokopia. Even if you can’t visit the malls, keep an eye out for the truck as it travels around the city on weekdays. We can’t wait for you to try the game!”

The vehicle serves as a mobile showcase for Nintendo Switch 2 hardware. Inside the truck, visitors will find plush sofa seating and dynamic display screens. The setup creates a comfortable space for visitors to relax and sample new titles.
Six distinct gaming stations await shoppers at each stop. Four stations inside the vehicle feature “Pokémon Pokopia”. In this title, players build and customize their own world alongside iconic Pokémon creatures. Two additional stations at selected stops feature a broader selection of Nintendo titles.

Every station features a Nintendo Switch 2 console. Each booth includes a “Pokémon Pokopia”-themed board and clear instructions. On-site staff members stand ready to assist visitors. Attendants explain gameplay mechanics to newcomers and guide returning players through demo sessions.
The tour offers activities outside the vehicle as well. Families can visit an interactive “Pokémon Pokopia” photo zone. A decorative photo wall offers another spot to snap pictures.
Children can participate in a dedicated coloring corner set up near the vehicle. Meet-and-greet sessions with Pikachu take place outdoors during select weekend dates. Attendees can receive a commemorative “Pokémon Pokopia” sun visor featuring Pikachu and Ditto designs. Staff members distribute the visors on site while supplies last.
The mobile unit follows a strict schedule across several Philippine municipalities. Routes include Parañaque, Las Piñas, Bacoor, Muntinlupa, Imus, Dasmariñas, and General Trias.
On Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, the vehicle travels through urban routes. On Fridays through Sundays, the truck anchors at specific shopping centers. These weekend stops feature full gaming setups, event stages, and interactive activity zones.
