Shell announces week-long fuel discount for Filipino motorists

Motorists looking to ease their fuel expenses are in for a reprieve as Shell Pilipinas Corporation announced a week-long discount promotion starting late April.

From April 24 to April 30, 2026, the fuel giant will offer a Php 5 per liter discount on all fuel products at participating Shell stations across the country.

To qualify for the price reduction, four-wheel vehicle owners must make a minimum single-receipt purchase of Php 1,500. For two-wheel vehicle owners, the minimum purchase requirement is set at Php 200. The company noted that the discount is capped at a maximum of Php 200 per transaction.

Shell Pilipinas clarified that this promotional offer is designed to work alongside the company’s existing loyalty and rewards programs. Customers can still utilize the Shell Go+ and SMAC programs to earn “as good as cash” points on their purchases. Furthermore, holders of the UnionBank Shell Power Card remain eligible for up to a 5% rebate on their fuel spend.

Beyond the general motoring public, Shell also reiterated its commitment to the transport sector. The company continues to participate in the Department of Energy’s (DOE) diesel subsidy initiative, which provides a Php 10 per liter discount specifically for public utility vehicles (PUVs). Additional exclusive discounts for PUV and Transport Network Vehicle Service (TNVS) drivers are currently available at approximately 450 Shell stations nationwide.

The company is encouraging customers to visit the official web page to view the full mechanics of the promotion and a complete list of participating branches.

For ongoing updates regarding future fuel programs and company events, motorists are encouraged to monitor Shell Pilipinas Corporation’s official social media channels on Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
