The Press Photographers of the Philippines (PPP) launched its latest photo exhibit yesterday. The showcase is titled “Buhay Siklista.” It opened on July 16 at the 29th Graphic Expo. The event is held at the SMX Convention Center.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony featured several industry leaders. PPP President Edwin E. Bacasmas led the opening. He was joined by Secretary Vivian Marasigan and Director Joey Mendoza. Fiera de Manila President Norelyn Babiera also attended. Veteran sports photographer Ernie Sarmiento participated in the ceremony as well.
The exhibit highlights the experiences of the local cycling racing community. It captures the diverse, vibrant, and challenging aspects of life on two wheels. The collection showcases the visual storytelling skills of the nation’s top photojournalists.

Six photographers curated the images for the display. The contributors are Roy Domingo, Russel Palma, and RM Chua. Joey Mendoza, Roman Prospero, and Ernie Sarmiento also provided works for the exhibit.
“Buhay Siklista” serves as a key feature of the industry trade show. The expo aims to celebrate professional photography in the Philippines.
The public may view the collection for free. The exhibit remains open until July 18. Organizers invite all cycling enthusiasts and photography lovers to visit the SMX Convention Center before the expo concludes.
